How do I get to the culinary centre and where can I park?

We are located at 103, 227 – 10 Street NW, Calgary. You can use public transportation as we are located one block south of Sunnyside LRT station in the heart of Kensington. If you would rather drive, you can either park at a metered street parking spot (free after 6pm) or at the Calgary Parking Authority lot see our Map for details.

Please check parking map here | Visit for rates.

NOTE: Please be advised that construction sites have blossomed in Kensington and that you definitely want to allow a little extra time to park.

What is included in the price?

Your class includes a beverage and a recipe booklet. Hands-on classes usually include your own apron to take home as well! (Check class listings for details)

What is the dress code?

For hands-on events, wear clothing that is comfortable for you and try to keep away from long and wide sleeves, as they may become a hazard while cooking. How long are the classes?

Hands-on classes are usually about 3 hours but can be up to 6-8 hours spread over 2 days, depending on the class. Hands-off educational events can be up to 3 hours. You can find all the details in our course catalogue and registration area.

Is seating possible during class if needed?

Absolutely. We have stools available during class and students are more then welcome to sit whenever they want. Please note that all of our classes have seating time during chef’s demonstration.

What if I am late?

Every class starts with a 5- to 10-minute educational discussion that would leave you time to catch up before starting the cooking demonstration and preparation.

What about wine?

Your class usually includes wine sampling with each course that is always picked to pair with your food (Check class listing for detail).

Additional wine is available on request – please, drink responsibly.

How many people are in a class?

We have a maximum of 14 people in our hands-on classes and up to 28 for our hands-off / tasting events.

Can I take my food preparation home?

Absolutely! If you don’t want to eat during our class sampling breaks, you can take it home for later. We will provide you with the necessary take-away container and based on your transportation and travelling time, you may want to bring along a small cooler bag.

How can I book for a group?
