“What an amazing adventure! We were spoiled beyond expectations and learned not only about the food and wine but also about the culture and history of the Périgord region. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves the culinary arts and a little history as well. My favourite part aside from all of the gourmet meals was our day at the market where we shopped with the locals for the freshest ingredients to prepare dinner with. And of course the morning we spent at the boulangerie baking our own croissants for the next day’s breakfast. We kept saying you ourselves, “who does this???”. Turns out that we do! Bravo to Marnie and Thierry for a truly spectacular week full to the brim with luxuries, pampering, delicacies and lessons. I couldn’t have asked for a more organic and real experience of the French countryside. This trip of a lifetime was worth every penny and I would absolutely do it again.”
